The video demonstrates making an actual "alien" type mask all the way from the concept, to the sculpture, to making the molds, to casting, and final painting. Techniques
demonstrated include how to make a clay model, how to make decorative
stamps to put repeating designs in a clay model, how to smooth out the
designs and make them more realistic, how to make a two part plaster mold,
how to use latex rubber for casting a thin, hollow product such as a mask,
how to dry the latex rubber, and how to decorate the finished mask.
